My Story

Our staff Dietitian is here to help take the mystery out of healthy eating!

Danielle is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from James Madison University and a Master of Science in Nutrition from Dominican University in the Chicagoland area. While at Dominican University, Danielle completed her Dietetic Internship with concentrations in public health, community nutrition, and cultural diversity in childhood nutrition. Interests in the nutrition field include sustainability, health equity, and food security. Danielle’s background in Dietetics was clinically-based before she began working with the students at UVA last December.

For more information or assistance with food allergies or dietary restrictions, students are invited to schedule a meeting with Danielle Schneider at schneider-danielle@aramark.com.

Private consultations or group meetings are a free service for UVA students with a Meal Plan.

What I do.

Registered Dietitians are food and nutrition experts, translating the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living. They are able to separate facts from fads and translate nutritional science into information you can use. A dietitian can help put you on the path to building a healthy relationship with food, balanced eating, and risk reduction for chronic disease.
